The ‘Byard API 2000T’ Spiral Mill located at the PT DSAW has a capacity in excess of 50,000 Mt with Pipe Sizes 16" to 120" and Grades up to API X70. Citra Byard has the facility to assemble Pipe Piles in up to 45 metre single lengths, Coated and with Pile Shoes fitted. Pipe for uses such as Water Transmission and Dredging Work can be supplied with various end connectors. Manufacturing spiral welded steel pipe in sizes 10" (273mm) through 144"(3657mm) OD and wall thickness of 0.25" (6mm) through 1.00" (25mm) from steel coils or steel plate formed helically into cylinders. The cylinders are welded as they are formed, utilizing the double submerged arc process, accomplishing 100% penetration welds and forming a flawless seam that becomes an integral part of the pipe. This welding process ensures optimum product integrity and strength. After welding, the piece of pipe is cut to the desired length, usually from 40 to 60 feet. The finished pipe is then hydrostatically pressure tested to the appropriate specification or customer requirement. Upon completion of testing and inspection, the pipe is ready for coating, lining, or other fabrication processes specified.Spiral Pipe is now commonly used for a wide range of Services.
